Stripes Never Gets Old
A Short History
Stripes have the power to make a surface highly noticeable. There is a reason why black and white stripe was once the uniform convicts in a prison cell that is used to easily identify them. Long time ago, striped clothing was considered derogatory or clearly devilish that was worn by prostitutes, clowns, jugglers, and prisoners. It was considered as a badge of shame and undesirable in early 20th century. Sounds harsh right?! but who change it all?
The "Breton" by Coco Chanel! She was pictured sporting one of her lose-fitting Breton tops tucked into a pair of wide-leg trousers. A trend that she began that became so big that the upper class women started sporting the stripy top as well.

Stripes were HUGE last Spring. It was all over the Spring 2017 fashion show trend and was seen and worn by so many super models around the world. If you think that stripes is so last season, you definitely think wrong. There's no spring or summer without stripes, and you don't have to worry about buying into this trend no matter what because stripes never get out of style.
Stripes have earned their place and is definitely a "must have" piece in your wardrobe. They are investment worthy and totally collectable. They are fun, and easy to pair with. From bathing suits, pants, blazers, tops and etc. It wouldn't be hard to find the perfect piece to match your style and personality.
I purchased these pants a couple of years ago and I always end up taking them out to wear every year. They are cute, comfortable, and pairing them with different type of solid colored tops helps me create a different look every time. A piece that I will own forever.
Sharing a few striped print pieces that I found to sport for the upcoming season under shop my look. Hope you can find it useful and if you don't have any, maybe it can be your first! :)
Have a wonderful day! <3
