January - Open to Interpretation
A few days ago, a mommy blogger friend of mine, Disisd, asked me if I'm willing to do an "open to interpretation" blog post with her. It will be my first time doing it, so I went to check out a few bloggers who had done OTI to better understand how it works. Pretty much, it's where you find an inspiration outfit or a piece, and use that to create your own outfit version using your own style. I'm all about being open to new ideas so I figured, why not?!
I thought this would be a neat idea to be able to share two different styles coming from two different women, with two different lifestyles, and backgrounds.
Me: Married, in her late 20's, No children (yet lol).
Disisd: Married, in her 30's, and with five children. - Yes! FIVE! talk about super woman here!
So, for the month of January, we decided to go with "midi-skirt", as our inspiration piece.
Here's her intake.

Totally feminine with that pretty pink!
AND here's mine.

My look came out to be on the edgier/bold side. Edgy with my leather jacket, bold with my bright pink velvet skirt, and I wore my lady peep toe heels for a feminine touch.
The skirt was love at first sight when I saw it on sale at Zara. Sadly, I bought this at the store that when I went to look for it online, it was nowhere to be found. Don't you just hate it when that happens?! I will keep my eye out for a similar find and will share it once I find it!
SHOP MY LOOK!
