Chic & Comfortable
I'm a little late on posting this outfit because hubby was there to capture the moment, so I posted it right away on Instragram before even completing my post. (Which I will try my hardest to never do that again.)
That morning felt good to me. I woke up with calmness and happiness that I can't just explain in words. Something I haven't felt in a very long time.
I often dress up based on how I feel that day. I wanted to express how I was feeling, so I put together something chic, simple, happy (with a hint of pink), and comfortable at the same time.
The weather felt great as well. It was just right.
You never know what kind of weather you are going to get in Houston so I always make sure to check the weather when picking an outfit. I was quite excited when I found out the weather was the way it is. It was perfect to wear a comfortable sweater and pants to protect you from the chills, but warm enough to not have to wear boots. Also, I wanted my outfit to have a little pop so I threw in the perfect statement earrings I got from Anthropologie.
TOP: Funnel Neck Sweater from Express - It was so comfortable I wanted to order more colors.
BOTTOM: Belted Peg Pants - they are in petite size. I noticed there's not much sizes available on top shop so I used shopstyle and typed in Peg Pants to link you to different websites. If pink isn't you're color, you can always try other colors that will definitely look adorable! ;)
ACCESSORIES: Havana Beaded Tassel Drop Earrings - this is what I found online but I purchased mine at the store. They don't have the black ones on the website and I have no idea why! but they are on sale! With extra 40% off :)
SHOES: Pointy Toe Flats - I got a Tory Burch flats that I bought over 4 years ago that is no longer available so I linked something similar and its on sale!
P.S - I am working on learning my camera to get better photos in the future so stay tuned. :)
