Fear is what holds people back from the life they want to live that results people for being overly cautious and unwillingly to take risks. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you picture of how much time, work and effort you will need to put to be where you want to be. It's good to paint the big picture to have something to look forward to when you're in the process, but it's necessary to start breaking your big goals into smaller pieces that is doable and achievable in short-terms. This way, you will be able to focus better on each task and you will be able to built a stronger foundation. Just remember, one step at a time.

This is one of the toughest demands in success The reality is, when you are determined to achieve your goal, you might start to neglect the people that matters to you most. This is something very common due to the demand of having to work more and staying focus. When you are determined to succeed, you have to make changes around your personal life. It's not about neglecting your loved ones, but simply about working around it. Each of of us has our own responsibilities and sometimes we need to simply compromise. This moment in our life is when we have to think about our needs, be sensitive to other's feelings and hope that they'll understand that we need to do what is best for us. Know that these are only temporary sacrifices.
7. Sacrifice What's Good To Get Something Better
There are so many things that each of us wants right now that may affect and lose track of our focus for our long term goal. Attaining your desired outcome might mean that you have to give up something that feels safe and comfortable for something that is better long-term. This comes down to instant gratification. Many people are simply not willing to give up short-term pleasures for the ultimate ones.
But the real question is, what is the most important to you??
If you're serious about attaining your goal, you must be willing to let go of the small pleasures found in the moment that might sabotage you from living the ultimate dream. We have to make the choice between our immediate desires and the needs that will drive our dreams forward. It's normal for people to choose immediate desires and the easier options due to it is a normal way of life. However, keep in mind that when we sacrifice what we want right now, we are saving our time and energy for something bigger and far more important to us.
