6 Reasons Why I Juice
Life is NOT easy. Life can be hectic. When we lose control of our lives due to the stress that we deal with, we forget about the things that truly makes us happy. We forget to care for the things that matter most, especially our well-being.
I started this blog to take control of my life. I wanted to take more time to enjoy the little things, to have a full understanding of one self, to smile more, radiate my positivity and to care for my family's health.
When you hear the word "juicing", some people will consider it as a positive thing OR it can also be something negative. Not everyone has the same understanding or beliefs when it comes to juicing. I have been juicing for over 5 years and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
Many doctors will tell you to have a balanced diet and to exercise regularly but aren't specific on exactly what to eat on a daily basis. As a person who currently have stomach sensitivity, I have to figure out a way to maintain a diet that will benefit me and this means being more aware of what I put inside my body.
So, why do I juice? I will keep it short, and let me tell you why!
1. Feeds good bacteria to the gut
A third of our immune system is located in our digestive track. Research shows that the key to a healthy body is a healthy gut. It is very important that we eat food that are rich in prebiotics and vegetables are one of the best sources. To improve your digestive health, it is important that we add the right amount of fruits and vegetables in our diet and juicing is one of them.
2. Allows nutrients to be absorbed without digesting all the fiber
Fiber is good! Good for our digestion! But can you honestly eat three pounds of vegetables each day? I don't know about you, but I sure cannot. Juicing makes it possible because the juice leave off the pulp which introduces nutrients directly to the blood stream. Don't get me wrong.. I don't just juice, I also blend! So pretty much I do both on a daily basis.
3. It helps fight/prevent cancer
Do you hate the word cancer as much as I do?! This is on-going battle about who is telling the truth but as someone who seen the miracle of juicing will stand by it no matter what. If you feed your body the right nutrients that it needs, it will heal and it will also prevent you from getting sick.

4. It helps detoxify our bodies
We live in a stressful and more toxic environment nowadays. Due to a busy life, we lack on cooking our own meals and rely on fast foods for our body's nourishment. Detoxing get rid of the body's toxins that accumulate over the time because of poor diet choices and lack of exercise. Juicing helps flux out the toxins from our body.
5. Helps us get a better skin glow
Does it really? absolutely! You are what you eat! Hormones do play a part, but adding it with junk foods, greasy and oily foods will only make it worst. Juicing helps us get better skin by allowing our body to absorb more nutrients that our skin needs.
6. Provides energy
I am not a big fan of taking multi-vitamins supplements, and would prefer taking it naturally. Juicing is one way for me to get the nutrients my body needs daily. Drinking my juice on a daily basis provides me the energy I need without depending on caffeine or any other energy boost enhancing drugs. OH it also helps lower your cholesterol and your blood sugar! :)

I am not telling you to skip your meals and replace them with juice. Even though I do this during my detoxing days, Including this in your diet on a daily basis will nourish your body.
